I’ve just added a new page to my site. It’s about an idea that’s been in my mind for a long, long time and it’s time to put it out there. Some wise people have said that there is nothing so powerful as an idea who’s time has come and I hope that time for this idea is now or soon.
I think that we should be growing fruit trees in our parks and on our nature strips with free fruit for anyone who wants to pick it. I was just talking to Ray about it (my hubby) and he said that Don Burke apparently talked about the same idea in one of his shows a fair while back. I’m sure I can’t be the only one that’s thought this and I want to plant the seed of this idea into the minds of others. With enough agreement it could become a reality all over the world and as I said on my page, bring us a little closer to living in the Eden that we’re supposed to be living in.
I believe it could help to turn around health and behavioral problems in children, by not only making better nutrition available to them, but also by educating them on what real food is. Today we have children who have no idea that fruits and vegetables are grown on plants. Children that have never tasted many common fruits or vegetables and that’s very sad.
