It certainly is! I’d just make sure it’s a good quality whey protein. A lot of meal replacements contain all sorts of things that I wouldn’t want to put in my body such as Aspartame. Some of them also have cheap forms of minerals (crushed rock basically!), synthetic vitamins and artificial colors and flavours. That’s just a few things to watch for. What I always do its check out the ingredient list – if there’s lots of numbers – I’d avoid it. Also the less ingredients, usually the better!
