Poor Patrick Swayze – dead at 57 of cancer. The world (and of course very sadly his loved ones) loses yet another amazing human being much earlier than was necessary.

Apparently in the media, a cancer doctor (oncologist) has declared that Patrick living for 20 months after his diagnosis was an achievement. The sad fact is that if you set your standards low enough, anything can be claimed as an achievement.

To waste away and die a horrible, painful death at 57 is no achievement. There are untold numbers of people all over the world curing their cancers and living long and healthy lives using natural means and by supporting their body and making it healthy again, but sadly many times that number go along the ‘cut it out, then poison it or bomb it with radiation route’ and end up in the same place as Patrick.
